China 'Shelley' cup and saucer set.
[.1] White china tea cup with handle, round base, and scalloped edge and body. Style of cup known as 'Dainty'. Curves in cup body have vertical ridges converging at base to form v-shape. Rim is gold. Top and bottom of handle has gold painted v-shaped petal pattern. Image on front of 2 wheat sheafs marked '1829' and'1929' either side of a black swan, below which is a yellow ribbon with 'WESTERN AUSTRALIA' in black writing, with 'Floreat' written below. Marked on base in green within a shield shape is 'Shelley' and 'ENGLAND/Rd 272101' underneath. '203' is written in gold.
[.2] White china saucer with gold rim and scalloped edge. Surface is patterned with small ridges running from edge and converging in centre, mirroring pattern on [.1]. Smooth v-shape pieces formed between ridged sections, with pointed end towards saucer rim. Image on one side identical to that in [.1]: 2 wheat sheafs marked '1829' and'1929' either side of a black swan, below which is a yellow ribbon with 'WESTERN AUSTRALIA' in black writing, with 'Floreat' written below. Marked on base in green within a shield shape is 'Shelley' and 'ENGLAND'.
