White body, clear glaze. Painted with thick (embossed) turquoise ribbon-chained borders and gilt edge. All except b. marked. a. Crown over glob with 'MINTONS' across globe and 'ENGLAND' beneath. c-k. Later version of globe mark incorporating leaf sprays on sides of globe and 'EST.1795'. Saucers also have impressed year cyphers ranging from 1921-8. Original set has been replaced over the years .
