A breakfast set: cream colour with transfer printed pattern underglaze and blue painted flowers overglaze. a - e Five bread and butter plates f - j Five cereal bowls k - m Three tea cup saucers n - p Three coffee cup saucers q - s Three tea cups t - v Three coffee cups w Cream jug x Sugar bowl b & c have "POMPADOUR / BTP CO" stamped on base with an impressed flower. d,e,k,ln,o have "POMPADOUR / BTP CO" stamped on base f,g,h,i have "POMPADOUR / BTP CO" & "BTP CO" stamped on base j has "BTP CO" stamped on base This set was made by Bovey Tracey Pottery Company, Devon between 1842 and 1894. the pattern is called Pompadour. From the family home in Claremont.
