Cup, Saucer and Plate.
[.a]&[.b] Hand painted Cup and Saucer; edge of saucer and base of cup have scalloped edges. Mark on base of both cup and saucer: 'X' with Crown, R.G. and IRIS BAVARIA. Painted on base of cup: 'M.L.H/09', and on base of saucer: 'Leschenaultia, W.A.'/ by M.L. Holmes/ 7th July, 1904.' Leschenaultia flowers are painted on both cup and saucer.
[.c] Plate. Exactly the same painted decoration, scalloped edges and painted mark on base. Only difference is impressed mark on base - plate has 'MALMAISON' instead of "IRIS'.
