Converted to snider carbine. Proofing: 'Enfield 1861' stamped on plate; Queen Victoria's cypher; ordnance view proof mark; Br proof marks; 7 ordnance proof marks. Charge: snider cartridge. Projectile: bullet. Furniture: wood cut down leaving one band. Brass but plate and trigger guard. WAEF 45 - on brass butt plate.
