Short magazine, charger loadiing. Calibre: .303 inch. Sights: fore - block; rear - bridge. Manufacture: Star over shield containing word 'Lithgow' in centre/.../ 1925. Crown GR surmounting Lithgow proof mark - two flags crossed with letter 'L' centred at top and 'P' at base. Furniture: webbing sling, brass butt plate, one band, bayonet attachment under barrel.
