White plastic hard hat with front peak. The helmet has an upturned lip at the sides and back with narrow apertures to each side. It has a raised triangular-shaped piece at the crown with three vent holes to right and left sides. ‘MSA’ is imprinted to underside of peak. Small, rectangular label adhered to back with white lettering ‘MSA’ on green background. To the front are the letters ‘FMG’ in white inside a black stylized map of Australia. To the right of this are the words ‘Fortescue/The New Force in Iron Ore’. Below this logo and centrally located above peak is white self-adhesive label-maker tape with ‘SIMONE WETZLAR’ in black block capital letters. Red dirt is evident over entire crown of helmet with splotches of red mud to wearer’s right side and front. Black foam insert to inside crown with black plastic adjustable strap at back to adjust size to fit wearer’s head. Australian Standards label to inside back of helmet. Rectangular self-adhesive, white with black print and manufacturer name ‘MSA’ in white letters in black rectangle. Below MSA is ‘V GARD Advance 500 Cap’. Safety warning written in black lettering. ‘TYPE 1 INDUSTRIAL’ DOM (Date of manufacture) 03/2014’.
