Royal Crest top centre/ BY COMMAND OF THE KING./Admit the Bearer to State Apartments, Windsor Castle, on Tuesday, 21st August, 1917,/between the hours of 11 a.m. and 1 p.m./[signed] Sandhurst/Lord Chamberlain' ; 'OVER printed in bottom left corner; overstamped with oval-shaped, partly obscured stamp 'WINDSOR CASTLE' at bottom; 'AUG 1917' in centre;
Printing on back of card: ''This Card is to be shown to the Officials at the/Inspector's Office, Lord Chamberlain's Department,/Windsor Castle, and stamped before entrance to/the State Apartments.'
