Metal printing plate nailed to wooden block bearing the words 'Greetings/ STATE SHIPPING SERVICE/ 1940-1941'. Right hand top corner a lantern, left hand bottom corner a ships wheel waves across bottom of block and also two beams of light radiating from lantern. Clouds and birds represented across top of plate. Silver sparkles on plate.
Back of wooden block torn pages glued to block - (The Bankruptcy Act, 1892). Page appears to have nothing to do with printing block - no connection.
