BODICE, "Buek"

H2002.38

Heavy black cotton bodice ("Buek") more a two sided bib in style. Inside of front is lined with fawn cotton fabric, inside of back is lined with blue and white striped fabric. One shoulder is stitched together, other side has five metal hooks and eyes to fasten. Neck is round. Front has a piece of white cotton tape at right and left lower hem to fasten bodice up.
