H1999.331

Long cream robe, with three-quarter length sleeves. Robe is A-line cut, flares out from chest. Fabric is either a heavy cotton or linen. The edges of sleeves and neckline and edges of opening of robe are edged with thick cream satin, and floral-motif cream lace overlaid on satin. Thereare four cream satin-covered buttons with thick cord tassles, which have satin fabric balls at the end of tassle. Two are on left and right sides of front neckline, two on right and left sides of front waistline. Sleeves are straight, flare out. 6 satin buttons sewed along both shoulder lines. Button with tassles at centre of back neckline. Robe opening has metal hooks and eyes to fasten.
