heavy black cotton fabric, long- sleeved coat with 6 buttons and button-holes to the front opening. Three buttons to each sleeve cuff. Coat has black silk lining to sleeves and cream /black striped silk lining to body. Manufacturer label, black cloth with red embroidered J. WIPPELL & Co. LTD/Tailors and Robe makers EXETER, LONDON, 11 Tufton St. Westminster, S.W.1/MANCHESTER, 32 Victoria St. (ENTRANCE CATEATON [?] ST); cream silk name label with with red embroidered Bishop of Nor-West, both labels stitched to back inside neck of coat.
