DRESS, black swan
H1999.70.1-2
(.1) Child's yellow satin dress, mid waisted. Has six large black velvet swans with red sequin eye stitched around lower part of skirt. Waist has thin yellow "rope" stiched around it, with a yellow satin drawstring bag on rop attached to waist. Sleeves are short, and puffed at shoulders. Neckline round, sleeves and neckline trimmed with white lace with yellow ribbon threaded through lace on neckline. Neckline also trimmed with spiral gold brocade. Bodice and skirt slightly gathered. Back has metal hooks, cotton eyes.
(.2) Hat, consisting of yellow satin head band, and thick gold thread loosely meshed together to form the crown of the hat.
