TIN, DRIED MILK - BONLAC

3 ½ LBS. Net dried milk tin - Bonlac. Front side of the cylinder bears inscription: 'BONLAC/ NON-FAT/ MILK/ SKIM MILK POWDER/ UNFIT FOR INFANTS EXCEPT UNDER MEDICAL DIRECTION'. Inscriptions are made in dark red, grey and black on an ochre coloured surface. On both sides of the inscription are images of black and white cows. On the left reads the inscription 'PREPARED IN AUSTRALIA/ BY TRUFOOD OF AUSTRALIA LTD./ GLENORMISSION, Vic.'. On the right reads 'PUTS EXTRA FOOD/ VALUE SOMEWHERE/ IN EVERY MEAL/ 3 ½ LBS. NET'.
Instructions are printed on a white rectangular bordered space. Very detailed 'MIXING DIRECTIONS' and also aside in the similar white rectangular space is advertising explanatory notes of the advantages of the product: 'HEALTH FACTS ABOUT BONLAC' and a recipe of 'BONLAC NON-FAT ICE CREAM'. On the bottom of this inscription is Reg. No: 'REG. NO 746/ National Can Co.'
Bottom has raised inscription of number 339.
