Orange 'AKTA-VITE' tin, contents net 1120 grams. The inscriptions in dark brown coloured letters on the white surface framed with border. On the front side of the cylinder text: 'Akta-Vite/ Balanced Nutritional Forumula/ A valuable vitamin supplement recommended for/ growing children, expectant and nursing mothers,/ convalescent and those under stress. With THIAMINE/ - energy and/ recuperative factor'.
On the backside inscription: 'Akta-Vite' explanatory notes about the advantages of use for the particular health purpose: 'The importance of THIAMINE';/ for growing children,/ for nursing mothers,/ for expectant mothers,/ for convalescent,/ for those under stress, and with directions for use.
The inscription on the bottom: 'NICHOLAS A WHOLLY/ AUSTRALIAN OWNED COMPANY/ NICHOLAS PROPRIETARY LIMTIED, 699 WARRIGAL ROAD, CHADSTONE, VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA, 3148'.
On the back of the cylinder, hand written notes of some ingredients for the recipe: 'Karri, Honey....';notes are not very clear.
On the top of the lid the inscription: 'Akta Vite'/ A Nicholas Product.
