Tin plated cylindrical container for toffees and chocolates produced by Mackintosh's Quality Street brand. Ornamented with 'Quality Street' images: 'Young army officer offering a chocolate tin to a young lady'. The ornamentation goes round the cylinder of the box and in the lid. Colours: ivory white, pink, red, light green, brown etc. Inscriptions: 'Mackintosh's/ Quality Street/ TOFFEES & CHOCOLATES/ 1LB NET WEIGHT/ INCLUDING IMMEDIATE WRAPPINGS/ MADE IN ENGLAND. MADE IN ENGLAND BY JOHN MACKINTOSH & SONS LTD. HALIFAX. ENGLAND.'
