PRINT PLATE IN ENVELOPE

H1995.1019

Print plate disc with portrait of C.A. de Bernales (uper torso and head) in suit and tie. The print plate has 'CLAUDE ALBERT DE BERNALES' written around the rim. There is an example of the print on paper held with the plate in a square envelope. On the front of the envelope is 'SMITH'S WEEKLY/ POSTAGE PAID SYDNEY'. The envelope has two three halfpence postage stamps featuring King George and coat of arms.
