Magazine marked 'JUNE 8, 1950/ THE AUSTRALASIAN POST'. Cover shows the head of an elegantly attired woman wearing red hat with black feathers. Printed in lower left corner, 'NEW SERIAL:/ THE LOVES OF / LOLA MONTEZ' and 'THE GIRL WHO MADE/ DANNY KAYE FAMOUS'. Some pages of magazine are in colour, others black and white. Contents include articles about Lola Montez, Lindeman Island ('PUB ON LONELY TROPIC ISLE'), The Henty family (Victorian pioneers), 'THE GIRL WHO MADE DANNY KAYE FAMOUS (wife Sylvia), Japan, and various modern hats. On pp.10-11 there is a story and pictures, 'THIS IS THE HOUSE CLAUDE BUILT' referring to Claude de Bernales' history and his role in the building of London Court, a retail and residential street in Perth.
