Rectangular metal tin with hinged lid, painted silver, printed colour label glued on one end. Text reads: 'Mills & Ware's/High Grade[?]/Biscuits/17« lbs/Loose/Fruit Mince Rolls'. Label embellished with rose stems. Smaller label on side printed in yellow and white. Text reads: 'DEPOSIT 85c/This deposit will be refunded upon return of this/container to good order and condition. carriage pre/paid and with this label attached not latter than 30th/June 1973. Non return by that date will constitute the sale of the container for the amount of the deposit./85c/This container.../...W.A...' Remnants of paper around seal. Raised lettering on both sides of tin. Text reads: 'THIS TIN/54[in a circle]/IS THE/PROPERTY/OF/MILLS & WARE/86[IN A CIRCLE]'. The tin has been crudely soldered.
