DIARY

H1993.2

Black covered book with lined and columned pages such as would be used as a petty cash book. The first block of entries record receipts and expenditures from March, 1930 to August, 1930, the period that Mr. Frank Osterberg was a rabbit trapper. Other entries which are spasmodic and dated in the 1950's appear to be lists of plants; dahlias, crysanthemums, daffodils, roses, along with plans of where these were to be planted in the garden and other horticultural notes. This book was one of many domestic objects donated to the collection by relatives of Mr & Mrs Osterberg who came from the Eastern States to settle the estate.
