a,b. Wooden boxes with double latch for padlock; one latch pulls forward to reveal aperture for voting papers. a. Handles and right and left side. Has counting page glued on top panel. "35" is written in black lettering on box, "C. OF A. 35" is incised on tag. Box has depression on right and left hand side to accommodate the wax seal. b. Has paper label on front: "CANNING 23.365" is all that remains that is legible. Has handles on front and back, rather than sides as a. "WHITE PAPERS" is written faintly in chalk on right hand side.
