HANDBILL Greenpeace Concert

a. Green and white handbill advertising the Greenpeace No Time family concert for 9 July 1990. The handbill is divided into three basic sections. The first third of the handbill is a large green block. In this block is the name of the concert in large white letters as follows; " THE GREENPEACE / NO TIME / TO WASTE / *** FAMILY *** / * CONCERT * ". The o in no is very large with a map of the world in it so it resembles a globe. The centre of the poster is green print on a white background. Under the title of " * 14 LIVE ACTS * " there are three columns naming the acts featured in the concert. They include; " *DOUG PARKINSON / *JACKIE LOVE / *GREG SHULTZ BIG BAND / *TROUPADORES / *MAD IF YOU DON'T / *JENNY DUNSTAN / *DEVILS ON HORSEBACK / *CRAIG LAWRENCE / *SUSAN PARRY / *ANNIE NEIL / *3-UP BUSH BAND / *DAVE HOLE BAND / *PETER DEE / *KELMSCOTT CHOIR ". Below this is the smaller title; " * YOUR FAVOURITE RADIO & T.V. PERSONALITIES * ". There are three columns of personalities below this title and they include; " *JOHN BURGESS / *PETER PERRIN / *DAVID GRANT / *ANNE CONTI / *BRUCE WALKER / *JENNY SEATON / *SUSANNAH CARR / *DEAN CLAIRS / *VERITY JAMES / *GRANT WOODHAMS / *GERALDINE MELLET / *TED BULL / *GREG PEARCE / *PETER HOLLAND / *GARY SHANNON / *CHRIS BROWN / *RICK ARDON ". The last third of the handbill consist of two green blocks with white printing. The larger block gives details of the date and location of the concert, the price of the tickets and where concert tickets may be purchased. The thin block has the following white print in it; " IF YOU CARE... BE THERE! ". At the bottom of the handbill there is a note to circulate the handbill and recycle it. There is another note as follows: " RECYCLED PAPER. PRINTED & / SUPPORTED BY ENCORE PRODUCTIONS. The handbill was made for free by Encore Productions. The concert was to support Greenpeace worldwide. Normally Greenpeace International would get 24% of the proceeds for the cost of running their ships. The remainder of the money would go towards paying the campaigner's wages. This time however all the money went to the Greenpeace Perth Office. b. This hand bill is a photocopy of the green and white original The paper it is printed on is green and the print is black and green. This handbill was left on the table in the tea room at WAM during the week 2 - 6 July, 1990.
