SHOES, Strap

H1989.965

Child's flat, strap on shoes with broad rounded toes. White and red vinyl upper and black vinyl heel and sole. Topline trimmed with red, red counter and white and red spotted bow on the throat. Red trimmed white strap with silver metal clasp. Inside lined with red fabric. " Rabbit / MADE IN JAPAN / 16.0 " is printed on the insole in silver paint. On the soles of the shoes is the following; " MADE IN JAPAN ". There are also a couple of red and white stickers with " C-2 " written on them. These shoes are quite attractive. The shoes, with various other articles, were presented to the Western Australian Government following the Sister State agreement in 1981. They were displayed in the Beaufort Street Gallery for a number of years. See File.
