Small postcard. Pale brown background with illustration of cartoon doll-like girl in white dress, standing on top of a red upturned saucepan (?) looking down at a grey mouse. Printed in black at the bottom of the card " "OH! DEAR,/And all my Men have gone to the War!" ". Artist's name is printed in brown beneath the red saucepan. "F.E. Morgan". Back of postcard has usual instructions "STAMP HERE", "THIS SIDE FOR CORRESPONDENCE" etc. Printed along the side in small grey lettering "Copyright. Printed & Published by J. Salmon, Sevenoaks, England/E.Mack, King Henry's Road, Hampstead, London." Card has brief message in grey ink, as follows:
"Is it you or Maggie that is/afraid of mice/I forget which". Card is unsigned.
