PACKET LID, Seidlitz Powders

Top surface and one side of the lid of a packet of antacid powders. The box is ornately decorated with scrolls and flowers in light green, dark blue, cream and gold and reads "GENUINE / SEIDLITZ POWDERS / DIRECTIONS / DISSOLVE THE POWDER CONTAINED IN ONE OF THE BLUE PAPERS / IN A TUMBLER HALF FULL OF SPRING WATER, THEN ADD CONTENTS OF / ONE OF THE WHITE PAPERS; STIR, AND DRINK IMMEDIATELY". While there are two tins of powders in the collection which mention London, this lid continues "FELTON, GRIMWADE & BICKFORD, LD., / WHOLESALE DRUGGISTS. / & MANUFACTURING CHEMISTS. / PERTH."
