On obverse, crowned head of Edward IV; around rim "EDOUARD IV. D.G / ANG. FR. ET. HIB. REX". Beneath the bust, "I.D.I". On the reverse, between two columns supporting an arch, a naked figure stands holding a swathe of material above her head. Her feet rest on a ball in the sea and galleons can be seen in the background. Beneath, "NAT. 1441. COR. 20. IUN / 1401. MORT. 9. APRIL / 1483".
