Round, white, flying saucer shaped toy, with four large buttons or buzzer buttons which light up. In the centre is an on / off switch, three small buttons with Japanese text, and two further switches with Japanese text and numbers, 1 to 3, and numbers 1 to 4. Battery operated, uses three batteries. George Trotter translation of Japanese characters. top left to bottom right "Game / 123 / Game Level / 1234 / Fast Game / Start / Longest?" "Trade Mark / (symbol of a Y inside a five petal flower) / SIMON TM / ... / OFF ON", and on the back, the symbol again with "Made in Japan" and "MB / Electronics / ... / MILTON / BRADLEY ", and " Copyright 1978 - by Universal and Berne Convention" Bought by Helen's mother-in-law Mrs Elvie Martin in Singapore, for the boys. The game plays one of a variety of tunes of increasing complexity which have to be repeated by pressing the coloured bars. From a collection of toys used by Helen's children who were all born at Woodside Hospital in Dalgety St, East Fremantle. Meredith Jane, born 5 Mar 1968 Timothy Lewis and his twin brother, Jeremy Francis, born 5 July 1971.
