One page condolence letter from Thelma and Jim, dated Wed 6th June. "Dear Dot, Susie Norm & Frank, I just heard the sad news about Norma and was terribly upset so I am writing this to you all to give you our deepest sympathy. There is not much I can say that will ease the pain of losing her I know but believe me our hearts are with you all. Mum Alex had a letter from Clive Gils wife that is how we heard. Well everybody we may be seeing you all a lot sooner than we anticipated, as we are considering the matter very seriously so if this comes to pass I think we are going to make our way back there & build. I don't think I can write any more for now as although there is plenty I think & feel I don't seem to have the ability to put it into words so once again please all of you accept our deepest & most heartfelt sympathy. Your pals forever, Thelma & Jim"
