a. Leatherette cover; stitched at bottom, top and sides, has indent at opening to facilitate the removal of the licence. Has impressions to give appearance of crocodile skin. b. Buff coloured card; linen on card cover. Has "MOTOR / DRIVER'S / LICENSE" in black ink on front. Inside has "WESTERN AUSTRALIA / No 143819 / The Traffic Act, 1919" on card, then has current license pasted over bottom three quarters of card: "Fee 5/- H45477 / License No 143819 / Granted by the Commissioner of / Police, W.A., / to Gus W. MARTIN / of Town Hall, Boulder / to drive a Wagon / is hereby renewed and in force for a period of twelve months / ending 24th day of / January 1952 / Date Renewed 25/1/1951 / W.W. Frances / Member of the Police Force". The right hand page has "ENDORSEMENTS": this page is blank. c. License in plastic sleeve; license does not need to be removed from cover. Green card, with "W.A. / MOTOR / DRIVER'S / LICENSE" in black on cover. Inside reads: LICENSE No 295606 / VEHICLE
