BELT, Souvenir
H1988.363
Souvenir belt; eleven panels of knitted wool in brown, orange, khaki, pink and grey. The belt fastens with four hooks and eyes. Hand knitted woollen sections are bound with brown wool tape, machine sewn. Attached to the belt are numerous buttons and medals of military origin. Most are English, Australian and French. A cross and medal of the Immaculate Conception from Lourdes are also attached. Includes a very unusual Art Nouveau medal, French "1904 etc".
