White cotton pique long infants day dress, short sleeved, gathered at high bodice, seems at side, opening at back with drawstring at bodice and at round neck. Short sleeved, dress has centre panel of horizontal pleating broken by white cutwork at centre and top; panel is "v" shaped and is flanked by vertical pleating on each side; sleeves are short with bands of pleating and cutwork as in bodice; sleeves are finished by lace sewn on to join main body of the garment; similar lace attached by needle to neckline of garment. Three bands of pleating on hem. Finely handsewn throughout. See H87.319.
