Embroidered mat, Islamic, possibly south central Asia/Caucasus; unbleached linen, coarse tabby weave; embroidered mainly in tent sittch with silk and silver metal thread; narrow border of needleweaving; 4 square motifs enclosed in stars in corner; 6 stylised Mogul-type vases of flowers; central square motif surrounded by 4 mihrab motifs.
