'Set of ten Old Chinese embroidered silk mats'. Each has a central design of two characters (with fans, musical instruments, flowers etc) on ground of flowers, trees and insects, then blue circle, then border of flowers and symbols, black edging with gold thread trim.
Ann Roberts: A set of ten mats, each of lobed circular shape, the edge of each with ruyi (ju-i) motifs in gilt and black enclosing a medallion of two figures in a garden with florettes and emblems.
