Moulded edge. Wide border of grey and gilt scrolls and foliage with sprigs of enamel flowers. Central floral spray in enamels. Unmarked except for fractional pattern number in gilt on base, '2 \ 857'. Moulding and pattern number fits the Coalport factory wares and is similar to those illustrated in Godden Coalport and Coalbrookdale Porcelains plates 162 - 5.
