Moulded edge painted over with extensive gilding and grey borders. Centres painted with building and landscapes in enamels . Outside of cups plai with narrow band of gilding. Unmarked except for painted fractional number '2 688'. Identical moulding and very similar pattern number to those illustrated in Godden Coalport and Coalbrookda Porcelains plate 162 & 163. The moulded edge and handle match factory wasters illustrated in plate 150. Pattern number indicates date 1831-2, see page 79.
