2 Teacups.
[.a] Wide, footed cup. Scalloped rim with low relief moulding at edge. Bowl inside painted with scrolls in grey, gilded. Central floral group, finely painted. Gilded sprays on outer bowl and band at foot. Handle as J.P. Cushion, Pottery and Porcelain Tablewares, pg.152. Described as 'typical porcelian handle' ascribed to Coalport, c. 1840. Floral painting also suggests possibly Coalport & other cups of same shape in Nairn collection ascribed to Coalport. No factory or pattern marks. Christie's lot 199g.
[.b] Shaped as [.a] Giled scrolls in bone and grey with 2 painted floral groups and central flower.
