FRAGMENT OF SHAWL
CH1980.387
Appears to be the end of a shawl in the scarf shape worn from the later 18th-early 19th century. All silk with woven design of flowers in pinks, green and blue. Border in smaller pattern and width of plain pink, with fringe of white weft threads. Has been joined by hand.
