Beige silk crepe, with same colour silk embroidery on opposite corners, right side reversed so that right side visible when worn folded diagonally. Leaf and bud motif, edged with gold thread. Edges hand hemmed and threaded with cream silk threads, knotted into fringe. Style of shawl and size suggest date c. 1830s-40s.
