Mr Graham found this in 1886 ca. It was presented by Mr J.W. Aspland in 1929. This gunlock belonged to the gun with which Baxter the companion of Eyre the Explorer was murdered by natives on 29 Apr 1841 during the overland journey from Adelaide to King Georges Sound.
