The Dickie was built for Frank D. Lewis of Perth, Master Mariner, then owned by Mark Rubin of Broome, Pearler who sold the vessel to the Benedictine Community of New Norcia, to service their Catholic mission at Pago Pago, Mission Cove, Napier Broome Bay.
