FANCY DRESS OUTFIT

Fancy dress outfit in 18th Century style comprisinga jacket with atatched waistcoat and breeches; the jacket and breeches of light blue silk satin; the waistcoat of white silk twill printed with sprays of field flowers.
[.a] Jacket; Edges trimmed with ecru machine lace, also the cuffs and 2 patch pockets; a jabot of machine embroidered net is attached to the back collar to be pinned at front. The waistcoat consists of front pieces only attached at side seams to jacket; closes at front with 6 blue silk-covered buttons. Jacket lined with white silk twill; waistcoat lined with white glazed cotton; narrow tape belt inside to tie around waist.
[.b] Breeches on narrow waistband; concealed button fly; legs have small slits with 2 buttons at side; lined with white glazed cotton. Hand and machine sewn.
