Pince nez, gold wire rim, with yellow glass lenses. Marked on nose clamps 'AC/10'.

Addition: 24.4.98
'ASTIG' Pince nez with a helical spring bridge. Sunglasses not prescribed lenses.
Astig pince nez first manufactured in the 1890s and remained popular until the 1940s. The advantage of this model was that the bridge could be adjusted and it was more suitable for the recently available newly designed astigmatic lenses which required a rigid horizontal position.
Same style as pince nez CH.1979.653.
