CARBINE, Belgian percussion lock

Belgian percussion lock carbine with attached bayonet screwed on side - 14 inch bore. Charge/projectile: cap and ball. '1825' hand engraved behind rear sight, mark on wooden butt: two concentric circles; 'W' in centre. Proof: on hammer, crown over 'K'; on barrel 'PB', crown over 'JS', leftside crown over 'IS', crown over 'JS' and '1828' stamped. Furniture: steel ramrod (replacement). Brass trigger guard, butt plate, ramrod holder.
