a. Cup. Bluish glaze. Transfer pattern of sprays of flowers, hand coloured in pink, yellow, green, orange and blue. Gilded band at foot, rim, handle and inside edge. Pattern gilded. No marks. b. Saucer. Relatively large with no specific indentation in centre for cup. Matches (a) . No marks. Nairn thought a Staffs. factory, ca 1860. Nai number C \ 10.
