Silver tieclip with a brass circular design on the front. Within the the circle is a white golf ball with gold spots with the following words in gold print in the centre of it; " DUNLOP / 65 " . Below the golf ball is a red band with the following words within it again in gold print; " HOLE IN ONE " . On the left and right of the golf ball is a pattern of green leaves. All the colours on the tie- clip are painted with enamel paints. All the borders and fine details on the clip are gold. Under the brass circle, there appears some stamped letters. Some have been soldered over. It is obvious that they would have been the manufacturers name. The letters that remain are; " K.C. / MELB. " Melbourne would have been the place of manufacture. The tieclip comprises of a long thin strip of metal with a golf ball decoration in the centre. This part would be visible at the front of the tie. The strip of metal curves around behind the tie and the tie- clip is held in place by a wire sprung lever at he back of the tie- clip. It was thought that the tieclip was made in 1965 because the number 65 appeared on the front of the tieclip.
