GUM BOOTS, Yellow
H1990.19
Small yellow plastic gum boots to fit child of approximately 5 years. They are moulded in one piece. They have a small heel and a series of ridges on the sole. They have a pseudo toe cap and heel reinforcer. They have been designed with a large piece missing at the front to enable the child to bend forward. Underneath the right boot the following is moulded into the plastic: "MADE BY / CHERUB / FOOTWEAR P/L / PLASTIC 5 DES. / PEND." On the left boot is "CHERUB / 5" The boots were purchased at a fundraising fete held by the Environment Centre in Fremantle during 1989. Items to be sold at the fete were donated by members and other interested people.
