SANDALS, Japanese
H1989.970
Gold coloured sandals all covered in plastic. They have a thong top and a wedge heel. Underneath the plastic on the sole is metallic fabric with a black pattern. The cloth on the side of the heel is not covered with plastic. The sandals together with a number of other articles were presented to the Western Australian Government following the Sister State agreement in 1981. They came from the Hyogo Exhibition in Japan. They were displayed in the Beaufort St Gallery for a number of years.
