Brown enamel kangaroo motif on the northern part of the globe, yellow enamel lightning bolt running diagonally across underneath kangaroo with text 'NWC'. Gold gilt finish submarine motif on centre right side. Dark blue enamel map of Australia on bottom of globe with text '180' inside. Gold gilt and red enamel dart motif pointed at North-West Western Australia. Banner with curved edges and teal enamel background underneath circular section with text 'HAROLD E. HOLT'. Reverse: textured gold gilt finish, text 'SHERIDAN/ PERTH', brooch fixing with no pin or catch attached.
[.2] Pre-enamelled badge with same design as [.1]. Extra piece of unclipped metal around rim of badge. Reverse: 'SHERIDAN/ PERTH', brooch fixing with no pin or catch attached.
