DANCE COSTUME, red tulle dress and sequinned bodice
[.1] Skirt has multiple layers of red tulle frills edged with yellow ribbon. The underskirt is composed of layers of yellow net, edged with an orange ribbon. These are scooped up at the front, exposing the legs and are attached at the hips with a broad band of gold fabric, decorated with large and small red sequins. The back is closed with three hooks and eyes.
[.2] The bodice is cropped under the bust line and is made of gold fabric, decorated with red sequins, both large and small. The frilled sleeves are in red fabric with a yellow trim. They are lined with orange net edged with ribbon. Each sleeve has a decorative orange ribbon at shoulder level. The back has a double row of metal eyes sewn on the left hand side but has no corresponding hooks.
