DANCE COSTUME, pink skirt with silver, pink, green and blue sequins with armlets (2 x cuffs worn on wrists) and matching headpiece
[.1] DRESS.Silver sequins sewn densely onto a green, tafetta bodice, with three broad panels overlapping the skirt in the front and two, at the back. The front bodice and panels have large, hand stitched, sequined flowers in orange, purple and green. The bodice has broad sequined straps, finished with pink net, which is sewn onto pink taffeta. They combine to form a single strap down the bare back which attaches to the waist band at the back with hooks and eyes. This is finished with a large pink bow. Fabric flowers in orange, blue and green sit on a belt of diamante, copper and silver beads around the waist. The pink tafetta skirt is comprised of multi layered frills with an underskirt od stiffening material with a single pink frill on the hem
[.2 & .3] ARMLETS x 2. Both armlets are composed of densely sewn silver sequins outside and pink tafetta inside. Each has a silver fringe along the wrist edge. A press stud closes the armlet at the wrist. The left hand armlet has a large pink, sequined flower and green leaf sewn on it and the right hand armlet has a blue flower and green leaf.
[.4] HEADPIECE. Saucer shaped on shaped, stiffened fabric over a circle of wire. Covered with densely sewn silver seqiuins and fringed with a pink taffeta frill and net. A fabric flower of orange/yellow and green is attached on the left hand side. The under rim in front is covered with silver sequins. A knotted, cream hat elastic is attached, with a hook and eye on the other end to secure it
